Project 5: House and Studio for a Painter
1- Narrative:
Being that the client is a painter there are aspects among the three given areas available that are the most meaningful. The Studio, however, is where the inspiration for his art becomes amplified. The painter enjoys alone time and open space for his ideas to flourish, with an era of good music playing. Since his art is what pays the bills having a place where he can concentrate is important, his studio is his sanctuary. In the house, two rooms are to be of main focus while designing. The first room is the kitchen; the Painter had expressed great value in the kitchen because of his mother. His fondest memories were of his mother in the kitchen making meals for the family, having laughs and enjoying quality time is what he admires the most. The second room that should be accounted for in the master bedroom, this painter enjoys his sleep among most things, having enough room for a king-size bed and oversized television is how he would like to end his days, knowing that he will be refreshed and ready to start working the next day.
